Instructions
Slice mozzarella into 3-inch sticks.
Lay a slice of prosciutto flat, top with a basil leaf, and place mozzarella stick on top. Roll tightly.
Secure with toothpick if needed. Arrange on a baking tray.
Optional: Bake at 300°F for 10 minutes for a warm, melty finish.
Drizzle with balsamic glaze and sprinkle black pepper before serving.
Notes
For a vegetarian version, replace prosciutto with grilled zucchini and mozzarella with a roasted pepper strip. These are great cold or slightly warm!
