Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 8 sticks smoked mozzarella each about 3 inches long
  • 8 slices prosciutto thinly sliced
  • 8 leaves fresh basil

Optional Add-ons

  • balsamic glaze for drizzling
  • cracked black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Slice mozzarella into 3-inch sticks.
  • Lay a slice of prosciutto flat, top with a basil leaf, and place mozzarella stick on top. Roll tightly.
  • Secure with toothpick if needed. Arrange on a baking tray.
  • Optional: Bake at 300°F for 10 minutes for a warm, melty finish.
  • Drizzle with balsamic glaze and sprinkle black pepper before serving.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, replace prosciutto with grilled zucchini and mozzarella with a roasted pepper strip. These are great cold or slightly warm!
