Quick and delicious pressure-cooked apple fritters – warm, cinnamony, and perfect for breakfast or dessert!

Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 2 Apples peeled, cored, and diced
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 Egg beaten
  • 1/3 cup Milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp Butter melted
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil for greasing

Equipment

  • 1 Pressure cooker with trivet
  • 1 Mixing bowl large
  • 1 Silicone muffin molds

Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine beaten egg, milk, vanilla extract, and melted butter.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  4. Fold in the diced apples gently.
  5. Grease silicone muffin molds or small bowls with vegetable oil.
  6. Scoop batter into molds, filling about 3/4 full.
  7. Add one cup of water to the pressure cooker and place the trivet inside.
  8. Place filled molds on the trivet, stack if needed using foil sling.
  9. Cook on high pressure for 20 minutes, then quick release and carefully remove molds. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes
