About us

Healthy doesn’t have to mean giving up flavor, fun, or your family favorites!

Hi, I’m Celia!
I’m a 40-year-old health-focused food lover, wife, mom of two amazing kids, and dog mom to one slightly spoiled Labrador.

I live in the sunny, spice-scented heart of New Mexico, where chile is king and the sunsets are a daily event.

I’m here to help busy women over 40 discover that healthy food can be joyful, vibrant, and yes easy to make.
My journey into cooking came from my deep love of wellness and travel.

I started in holistic health, but it wasn’t long before I traded wellness workshops for wooden spoons.

Along the way, I realized that food is the most powerful connector—across cultures, around our dinner tables, and within ourselves.

My journey into cooking came from my deep love of wellness and travel. I started in holistic health, but it wasn’t long before I traded wellness workshops for wooden spoons. Along the way, I realized that food is the most powerful connector—across cultures, around our dinner tables, and within ourselves.

I started my food blog to share the meals and drinks I make for my family and friends, with a focus on real, wholesome ingredients. While I don’t follow a strict gluten-free diet, I believe in natural, balanced recipes that nourish and delight. From energizing smoothie bowls and natural Mounjaro-inspired drink recipes to hearty chicken and beef dinners, and yes—even cookies that taste amazing and feel good to eat—my kitchen is full of healthy goodness.

Life in our home is a beautiful mess of soccer practices, hiking trails, weeknight dinners, and spontaneous dance parties in the kitchen. My days are often split between planning a veggie-packed meal, testing out drink blends that boost energy, and racing to pick up the kids while trying not to forget the dog at the groomer’s.

I believe in balance. There are days I’m soaking lentils at 6 a.m. and days I’m pouring cereal for dinner. There are weekends we hike the desert hills with roasted wraps in our backpacks, and others where we binge-watch baking shows with a plate of homemade cookies. That’s the kind of real-life food balance I try to share.

Taking care of my body and mind is just as important to me as what goes on our plates. I start most mornings with yoga, and I make time for movement throughout the week—whether it’s a strength session, a jog through the foothills, or a simple stretch on the mat while dinner is in the oven. Staying active helps me stay centered, energized, and grounded for everything life throws my way.

If you peeked into my kitchen, you’d find jars of homemade granola, stacks of cookbooks marked with sticky notes, and a fridge full of colorful produce. You might also find me in leggings, barefoot, sipping an herbal tea while planning our next family road trip (likely somewhere with a great local market).

I’m here to offer you practical, feel-good recipes and tips that make healthy cooking less intimidating and more inspiring. Whether you’re looking for natural drink alternatives, wholesome dinner ideas, or treats that don’t compromise your wellness goals—welcome. You’re in the right place.

So come on in, grab a fork (or a smoothie straw), and let’s find the joy in real food together.

And for the record:
I love guacamole, hate olives, and think roasted sweet potatoes deserve their own holiday.
